The brief was to simplify and neaten the background, as well as touch up any creases in the models clothing.

I achieved this by drawing a geometric series of paths where i wanted the new walls/floors and ceilings to be positioned, cloned sections of the original structure (cleaning up where necessary) and used the paths to knock out the excess areas. A path was drawn around the model for the same purpose and also to allow a spot varnish to be applied when commercially printed.
