Adobe Photoshop - Industry Standard Hardware and Software

All work is carried out using Adobe Photoshop CS3 on a fully calibrated and updated Macintosh Workstation. Work is supplied back to the client in a format that will produce good printed results (assuming output devices are also correctly calibrated).

I have accomplished skills in most areas of retouching, my background is mostly in fashion retouching, but I also have extensive knowledge of product retouching, advertising advertising and similar. I am available for work on-site throughout the Greater London area, or using my own fully equipped premises and transferring files over the internet.

Simple Workflow Process

In the first instance, I ask clients to submit (via ftp or email) previews of the original photographs plus a marked up version indicating what needs to be done along with any other relevant information. This will allow me to assess how viable the project is, what the job will involve, and how long it will take. According to what the job is for, I can then give you a quote, I operate a flexible approach towards fees, charging an amount that I think is fair and competitive for the work you are doing. After a price has been agreed, I will email you progress reports and previews until the work has been approved. On approval the work will be delivered as a flattened high quality .tif format via my server, which can then be collected by the client. Additionally, you can also arrange for delivery of layered working files on disc, so you can experiment with removing/fading layers.

I take every step necessary to ensure that you are getting a technically accurate finished product within the parameters of what is possible with the source material, and in every case I will communicate accurately what the scenario is and what you can expect and if further resources may be necessary.

Technical and Creative Retouching
