Composite Retouching for LEN European Aquatics Championships

Composite Retouching to create a series of images for LEN European Aquatics Championships 2016 Campaign. Several images were produced for this campaign, below is one of my favorites.

Below shows the two original images juxtaposed on top of one another.

I created this image by:

I manipulated the colours of the water and buildings
replaced the sky with a simpler and less cloudy alternative
cut out a provided stock image of swimmers
used some photoshop brushes to emulate the water and splash textures
added some flares to the background building to complement the colour grade of cyan-orange
